Mr. Porky & Miss Piggy

Ithwmp
If pork rinds and the like are your kind of thing, Cooking with Mr. Porky should have you squealing with delight. According to a press release, the cookbook "includes 50 tempting recipes to try at home where the main ingredient is the beer swillers’ favourite, pork scratchings."

The preferred pork scratchings, in this case, are Mr. Porky's Pork Scratchings, a product from the U.K.-based company Red Mill Snack Foods. Amazon's U.S. branch doesn't list the book, but if you really want it, I don't suspect it'll be too hard to track down.

I trust that In the Kitchen With Miss Piggy doesn't contain any pork or ham recipes, but since I don't have a copy on hand I can't verify that. Published in 1996, the cookbook does feature a host of celebrity recipes, from the likes of Tom Brokaw, Jodie Foster, John Travolta, Kermit the Frog, Elizabeth Taylor, and Norman Schwarzkopf. It's not in print anymore, but used copies are selling online for the wallet-busting price of 1 cent.
